Review on BLOGILATES app

So 28th of August was the day it would be released to everyone. Already going to the top spot on health & fitness apps, it proves to be popular.

The app is free to download and has a start up page of this..

You have 5 functions, Calender, video, instagram, recipes and shop.

The app is designed very well and is incredibly easy to use. The features are useful and well presented.

Unfortunatly, to access the calender feature (the first icon) you have to pay 99 cent. This is per month and I found this slightly disapointing.

One of my favorite features was the recipes section, all of her "cheap clean eats" were displayed on here. This is great because her recipes is a popular feature of her blog.

Overall this app is a very good idea and it's great to see Blogilates become so popular. This app is only available on the apple app store unfortunately but is said to be coming to android soon!

Training Diary?

Is a training diary really that important? Yes, I think it is. It can keep you motivated seeing how far you've come. It can also help you trace back when injuries started. You can also use it to set targets to become fitter. Here are 3 simple steps to the perfect diary!

1. Find and unused notebook or folder of some sort. Write, training diary over it so you know it can't be used for anything else..

2. When you start an entry, always write the date and time (of when you worked out). This could help to show any patterns and is always useful to know!

3. Display what you did, rough route. If their was any notably weather conditions, include them! if you know the temperature say that! Don't forget to include how it felt and next time what would you do better?

So there you have it, your perfect diary! Good Luck!

Worked out hard?

Whenever I have worked out hard I always think, when will I benefit from this workout. Even though their is not an exact time span of when you will feel the benefits. Scientist have discovered certain timings that you can use to your advantage.

Pete Pfitzinger is an exercise physiologist and two-time Olympic marathoner says the process is cumulative.

For running it is generally;

Training done within the past 5 days; Stress that leads to fatigue

Training done within 5 to eight days ago; Starting to lead to a positive adaption

Training done 8 days to 3 weeks ago; Stress has created a positive adaption.

Training done 3 weeks ago; Training is starting to loose its effect.

Fitness you have have today is a mix of all of these categories.
To exactly pin point a specific workout is hard but generally it takes about 8 to 10 days before you see the benefits.
